About Me
I’ve been building, fabricating, fine-tuning motorcycles and cars for over 30 years — it’s not just my job, it’s my life.
My journey started in my father’s garage, surrounded by engines and oil, and it’s taken me from working at Deus to running my own custom workshop, Mean Machines Motorcycles.
Along the way, I earned my motorcycle mechanic license, built award-winning custom bikes, appeared in GQ Australia, and even designed Australia’s first electric motorcycle. I’ve also trained apprentices — many now running their own shops or working with race teams.
Through Motorcycle Werks, my mission is simple:to share everything I’ve learned so riders and builders everywhere can learn, build, and ride with confidence.

I’m currently embarking on my next build — a 1985 Ducati Pantah 500 and bringing you along for the entire journey from the ground up.
Throughout this project, I’ll be documenting every step with detailed instructional videos so you can learn the exact techniques and processes I use in my custom builds.
The first course will cover how to build a jig table.
Next, we’ll move on to fabricating a custom motorcycle frame, followed by additional courses covering each major stage of the build.
This is just the beginning — new lessons and modules will continue rolling out as the project evolves. The course library will grow alongside the motorcycle.
